Francoise’s background combines science and creativity, with nearly 15 years of sculpting metal and other materials into unique pieces. For this series of wire sculptures, her interest was sparked by renowned artist Ruth Asawa’s work. She also finds inspiration in the strength hidden behind Nature’s fragility.

Francoise has constituted a collection of nearly 40 pieces of wire art that illustrate the diversity and artistic evolution in her work, half of which are large suspensions (1.5 to 2.2 metres).

Francoise lives in Sydney, but her collection has never been shown here. She is keen to bring her contribution to a community of Australian and international artists and would be open to discuss a potential collaboration.
